Jaipur . Principal Secretary, Mines, Geology and Petroleum Department, T. Ravikant has instructed the field officers of the Mining Department to ensure 100 percent recovery as per the revenue targets. He directed that in the next three months, by running a campaign, concrete efforts should be made to recover the current dues as well as the old dues, the outstanding amount of fine due to illegal activities and the outstanding amount as per the amnesty scheme.
He told that till November 24, Rs 1042 crore 26 lakh has been invested in Jaipur and Ajmer SME sector of Jaipur zone. Revenue recovery has been done. Principal Secretary Shri T. Ravikant was holding a review meeting of Jaipur Zone in the Secretariat. He directed the Headquarters, Udaipur, to prepare a list of revenue cases that have received stay from the courts for recovery of dues in the state, along with regular review, and to present the departmental side effectively in the courts. He said that any kind of negligence in revenue collection against the targets will not be tolerated. He said that SIA and SEC have been formed for state level environmental clearance. Departments are maintaining coordination. Instructions were given to the remaining mine holders among the mine and quarry license holders who have received environmental approval from the district level, to speed up the uploading of Form 2 on the environment portal. Ravikant reviewed the delineation work of mining plots and blocks for auction.
