Bilaspur: A businessman living in Civil Line area has complained against a serviceman for cheating him of Rs 82 lakh by luring him to double the amount. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a crime and taken the matter under investigation.
A businessman living in Jarhabhatha complained about cheating. The victim told that he has a clothes shop in Gol Bazaar. Four years ago, she met Deepak Kewalani alias Ranveer at the Gurudwara in Chakarbhatha. During that time he used to go to Gurudwara of Chakarbhatha with his nephew Mayank Lachhwani.
Fear of ghosts started showing again
His acquaintance with Deepak, who lived there as a servant, increased. After this, about one and a half years ago, he lured her into his trap by luring her to double the amount. Then he and Mayank Lachhwani out of greed gave money from themselves and from the market to Deepak Kewalani. After this he asked both of them to live in the house located in Rama Valley.
During this he told them that they would run out of money after going home. Falling into his trap, both of them misled their family members and told that they were in Hyderabad. During this time he also showed them the fear of ghosts. Ultimately, after coming to know of the fraud, he lodged a complaint at the Civil Lines police station.
