
The Haryana government has taken a big step to promote environmental protection and tourism. The world’s largest forest safari park is being planned in Gurugram and Nuh districts of the state. The park will be installed in the Aravalli mountain range, where tourists will get a unique experience of wildlife and nature.
How big will the forest safari park be?
The total area of this jungle Safari Park will be spread over 10,000 acres, which will make it the world’s largest curated forest Safari Park. So far, Jungle Safari Park located in Sharjah (UAE) is considered to be the largest, which is spread over 2,000 acres. This park, built in Aravalli, will be five times larger than Sharjah Safari, which will make it a major attraction not only for India but the whole world.
What will be the features?
This jungle safari park will be divided into many different zones, which will give exciting experience to tourists coming here. These zones will be included.
Reptiles and amphibian zones – Where various species of snakes, crocodiles and other reptiles will be seen.
Zone for big cats – Four zones will be made separately for lions, tigers, leopards and leopards.
Underwater World – There will be a special opportunity to see the organisms living in water.
Nature Trail and Tourism Zone – A special walking trail will be created for nature lovers.
Botanical Garden – There will be a collection of plants of different species, especially for those interested in botany.
Local people will get employment
The Haryana government is also planning to include local communities in this project. Local people will be made aware of the importance of tourism and wildlife conservation. Under this, schemes like home-stay will be implemented, which will not only provide employment to the local people, but will also strengthen the economy of the region.
Biodiversity of the Aravalli region
The Aravalli mountain range is a rich region with biodiversity. According to a recent survey, more than 180 bird species, 15 types of terrestrial organisms, 29 types of aquatic organisms and 57 types of butterflies are found in this area. This safari park will help to further preserve this rich biodiversity.

The construction of this park will give a boost to tourism in the state of Haryana. This will attract tourists not only from all over the country but also from abroad. The aim of the government is to develop it as a world -class project, which will strengthen the economic condition of the state.
