‘DNPA Conclave’ was held in New Delhi, 27 February. The subject of this conclave was ‘media change in the era of AI’. Experts from all over the world to interact on the future, emerging possibilities and challenges presented by AI in this day -long conclave.
Union Railway, Information and Broadcasting and Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Honorable Minister has received a message for the DNPA conference, as he could not appear personally due to Prayagraj’s unavoidable journey today.
During this, he said, I express congratulations and gratitude to all my colleagues in DNPA for organizing this event. This is a great conference. Through this conference, today’s digital media scenario and developing world will have excellent discussions on new media changes from traditional media. I would definitely like to know the suggestions emanating from these discussions.
How to see your role in traditional media?
Friends, the media world is going through a significant change today. Along with traditional media, which have newspapers and television major mediums, digital media has also emerged significantly. In many areas, especially among the younger generation, there has been a complete change from traditional media to digital media. As such, how do we see our role in traditional media? How do we mold ourselves for this change?
‘We are ready to help’
How do we manage this change by ensuring safety of employment opportunities related to media industry? How do we address copyright issues and find solutions for them? How can we work towards proper compensation for traditional media?
There is also a need to consider how proper recognition of content under editorial probe before the importance of producers and material manufacturers and especially before is published. All these subjects should be discussed in detail in this DNPA conference so that clear policy instructions and policy recommendations can be revealed from this platform. From the government, we are fully prepared to provide any assistance required during this change.
