
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appreciated ‘Vantara’, a unique initiative of wildlife protection, rescue and rehabilitation. He inaugurated the animal rescue, protection and rehabilitation center ‘Vantara’ in Jamnagar district of Gujarat on Sunday and cherished the Asian lion cubs. He also gave milk to the cubs.
PM congratulated Anant Ambani
PM Modi spent time with many endangered animals. He congratulated Anant Ambani for the amazing work being done in ‘Vantara’ and praised his efforts to establish a world -class rescue and rehabilitation center. The PM learned about various facilities in Vantara. He also went to Wildlife Hospital in ‘Vantara’ and saw veterinary facilities which are equipped with MRI, CT scan, ICU and other facilities.
Vanatara spread over an area of three thousand acres
The Prime Minister also shared many pictures related to his visit. Vantara, spread over an area of about three thousand acres, is in the Jamnagar Refinery Complex of Reliance Industries. It is home to more than two thousand species and more than 1.5 lakhs rescued endured animals.
Unique wildlife protection called ‘Vantara’
PM Modi posted on X, inaugurating a unique wildlife conservation, rescue and rehabilitation initiative called ‘Vantara’, which promotes ecological stability and wildlife welfare. I appreciate Anant Ambani and his entire team for this effort. Efforts like Vanatara are really commendable, it is a lively example of our centuries-old ethos that we also protect animals who live with us on this earth.
PM Modi said that in ‘Vantara’ he saw an elephant, who was a victim of acid attack. He said, the elephant was being treated. There were other elephants, which were blinded by his Mahavats. Another elephant was hit by a high speed truck.
Congratulations for the care of animals
PM said, how can people become so careless and cruel? Let us eliminate such irresponsibility and have mercy towards animals. I congratulate Vantara’s team for the care of many such animals.
