Two earthquake tremors in one hour in Manipur, IMD measured the intensity of 5.7 and 4.1


In Manipur, tremors have been felt. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Manipur Center, two earthquakes of 5.7 and 4.1 magnitude occurred in Manipur within an hour on Wednesday. There is no news of any loss until the news is written.

The IMD report states that the center of both earthquakes was in Kamjong, Manipur. The first earthquake came around 11:06 am, the second information was found around 12:20 pm.

According to the Regional Earthquake Science Center, the tremors of earthquake today were felt in Assam, Meghalaya and other parts of the region. Reports of minor damage in buildings and other structures in Manipur are coming in Manipur due to double tremors of earthquakes.

Minor damage reached buildings
According to the report, there have been cracks in several buildings in Manipur. Several videos shared on social media were shown cracks in a school building in Wangzing Lamding in Thobal district, where a relief camp was being run for people affected by ethnic conflicts.
