There is great news for the devotees who travel Amarnath. The schedule of the journey has been released. This year, devotees will be able to visit Baba Barfani from July 3 to August 9. The total duration for this holy pilgrimage has been fixed at 38 days. This decision has been taken in the meeting of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board. The registration process for the journey will start soon, so that devotees can plan their journey in time.

A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Amarnath Shrine Board Chairman and LG Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir, in which several senior officers including Jammu and Kashmir DGP Nalin Prabhat, Chief Secretary Atal Dhullu participated. In this meeting, the preparations for the Amarnath Yatra and its schedule were discussed, after which the final seal was on the date of the journey. In such a situation, now devotees will be able to see Baba Barfani from July 3 to August 9.

This time Amarnath Yatra will run for 39 days
Every year Amarnath Yatra used to run for 45 to 60 days. However, this time this period is slightly short. Last year, in 2024, devotees visited Baba Barfani from June 29 to August 19, but this time the Amarnath Yatra will run for only 38 days. This journey will be concluded on the day of Rakshabandhan. Special arrangements will be made for the devotees on behalf of the trust and the government regarding the Amarnath Yatra. Special care will be taken for security. Their stay will be made. There will also be anchor facility.

Devotees reach from every corner of the country
The journey of Baba Amarnath, starting from Ashada Purnima, runs till Shravan Purnima. Every year, Shiva devotees from every corner of the country have arrived to see Baba Barfani. During this, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees. Last year, registrations for the Amarnath Yatra started from 17 April. Registrations were taken through both online and offline. At the same time, there is a similar preparation this time. Passport size photos including Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID or driving license will be required for registration.

The Amarnath Yatra is considered one of the holiest pilgrimage of Hinduism. Every year millions of devotees reach the cave through difficult hill routes. Amarnath Dham is one of the major pilgrimage centers of Lord Shiva. Amarnath has darshan of rare and natural Shivling of Mahadev.
