Bhopal: Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang has said that the state level youth festival will be celebrated in January 2025. In this, youth will be able to perform in various genres. Minister Sarang gave necessary directions to the concerned officials regarding celebrating the state level youth festival.
Minister Sarang said that better preparations should be made for the excellent performance of our youth in various seven disciplines. The youth festival includes 7 genres including speech, science fair, poetry writing, story writing, group folk song, group folk dance and painting.
Minister Sarang said that the state level youth festival should be celebrated with enthusiasm. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and other distinguished guests should also be invited to the program. Also, youth should be encouraged to perform excellently in all disciplines.
Minister Sarang was told that youth from all seven disciplines will participate in the National Youth Festival. As per the intention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the 28th National Youth Festival is being organized in New Delhi from 12 to 16 January with the aim of providing a platform to the talent of the youth in the age group of 15 to 29 years. In this, selection is being held at the district level from 18th to 26th December. Selection of excellent youth will be held at the divisional level from 3rd to 5th January. The program is proposed on 7 or 8 January at the state level.
The winners of the State Level Youth Utsav-2025 will be given an amount of Rs 6 thousand for coming first in the group category, Rs 4 thousand for second and Rs 2 thousand for third. Similarly, in one category, prize money of Rs 10,000 will be given to the first, Rs 6,000 to the second and Rs 4,000 to the third.
Director Ravi Kumar Gupta, Deputy Secretary Sanjay Jain, Joint Director B.L. were present in the meeting. Yadav and other sports officials were present.
