Under the leadership of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee President Govind Singh Dotasara, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 11:00 am, the State Congress Committee took out a march on industrialist Gautam Adani and his associates from the Martyr Memorial in Government Hostel, Jaipur to Raj Bhawan. Protests will be held on the issue of Central Government’s indifference and deliberate stalling of parliamentary discussion on the allegations made by the Justice Department.
Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary and media in-charge Swarnim Chaturvedi said that the serious allegations leveled against industrialist Gautam Adani and his associates by the US Department of Justice have exposed the alleged web of corruption, fraud and deceit, these allegations include bribery, money laundering. and has exposed a disturbing pattern of market manipulation that tarnishes the reputation of Indian business and finance. The possible flight of capital in the country may hamper economic growth, employment generation and overall development, but the central government’s deliberate stalling of parliamentary discussion and remaining silent on this issue is a worrying sign of shirking responsibility and accountability. Along with this, under the leadership of State President Govind Singh Dotasra, as per the instructions of the All India Congress Committee, in protest against the BJP’s state government failing to stop the continuous violence in Manipur and the central government not intervening and the Prime Minister remaining silent on this issue. Congress Committee will hold a protest by taking out a foot march from Martyr Memorial in Jaipur to Raj Bhawan, Civil Lines on December 18, 2024 at 11:00 am. He told that in this protest, Leader of Opposition Shri Tikaram Julie, party MLAs, MLA candidates, MPs, MP candidates, State Congress Committee officials, AICC and PCC members, District and Block Congress Committee Presidents, Municipal bodies and Panchayat Raj institutions were present. Prominent Congressmen including public representatives will participate.
