Bhopal . The Finance Department has issued an order to the officers and employees of the state that if they do not get the e-KYC done, they will not be able to get their salaries on time. That means now e-KYC has become mandatory for government officers and employees of the state. The Finance Department has made it mandatory for government employees to get e-KYC done by 28 February 2025. After this, the salary of those employees who have not got the e-KYC done may be delayed and it will not come directly into their accounts.
It is noteworthy that till now the Madhya Pradesh government has made e-KYC mandatory to avail the benefits of government schemes. Earlier this was only for the general public, but now this process has been made mandatory for government employees also. Manish Rastogi, Principal Secretary, Finance Department, has sent a letter to all the departments in this regard and clarified that before entering the Samagra ID in the IFMIS system, the employees will have to link it with Aadhaar through the Samagra portal. Also, it is necessary to link the bank account in which the salary is received to Aadhaar.
It is mandatory to get e-KYC done by 28th February
Employees will get the facility of e-KYC on IFMIS only after linking the composite ID and bank account with Aadhaar. The Finance Department has issued instructions to all departments, Divisional Commissioner, District Magistrate and concerned officers that it will be mandatory for government employees to get e-KYC done by February 28. After this, the salary of those employees who have not got the e-KYC done may be delayed and it will not come directly into their accounts. Presently under IFMIS system the salaries of government employees are now transferred directly into their accounts on Aadhaar basis and not through bank accounts. If an employee does not complete his e-KYC process he may not be able to receive his salary or it may get delayed. Just like the benefits of government schemes are banned without e-KYC. The process of e-KYC on IFMIS can be initiated only after employees link their Samagra ID with Aadhaar through the Samagra portal. This step is an important change for the employees and needs to be completed on time so that there is no problem with their salaries and other benefits.
