Bhopal. In need of money, a person took the money by mortgaging his precious jewelery at a jeweller’s shop. Later she returned the money to the jewelers operator but the jewelers returned her jewellery. When the jewelers continued to hesitate and hesitate for a long time, the victim complained to the Nishatpura police. After investigating the complaint, the police have registered a case of fraud. According to the police, Pramod Sen, living in Karond area, works at a salon in Panchavati Colony. Hamir Lodhi, a bullion businessman who runs a jewelers shop near Peepal intersection, is his acquaintance. In his complaint, the complainant said that in January 2023, when he needed money due to family reasons, he had mortgaged his wife’s jewelery to Hamir Lodhi. Hamir had given Rs 7 lakh 60 thousand to Pramod in exchange of jewellery. Later, after arranging the money, Pramod reached there to take back the mortgaged jewellery. Then Hamir took about 8 lakh rupees including interest from Pramod but did not return the jewelery at that time and said that he has kept the jewelery in some other safe place, he will bring it in a day or two. After that, when Pramod went to Hamir to buy jewellery, Hamir and one of his associates kept avoiding him with pretexts. Meanwhile, Pramod came to know that Hamir had mortgaged his jewelery to someone else. After this the complainant started pressurizing Hamir to take back his jewellery. But Hamir did not return her jewellery. After this the matter reached the police. Police have registered a case against Hamir and his associate.
