Rape with dead body, 5 murders in 25 days, this is how serial killer was caught!


Crime: The body of a 19 year old college student was found in Valsad, Gujarat. When police investigation was conducted, it came to light that rape was followed by murder. Now the accused has been arrested, but his statements surprised everyone. The name of the accused is Rahul Jat. Police say he is a serial killer and has committed two more murders in the last 10 days.

Accused Rahul Jat says that after committing murder, he used to sleep with the dead bodies. Police have taken Rahul Jat on remand till 5th December. He is a resident of Rohtak, Haryana and many cases are registered against him in Rajasthan and UP also. According to police officials, a day before the murder of the student, Rahul had killed a woman during a robbery in Secunderabad, Telangana. In October, he raped and murdered a woman at Solapur railway station in Maharashtra. Before this, an elderly man was murdered with a knife after being robbed at Howrah station in Bengal. Apart from this, he had stabbed a passenger to death in a minor dispute at Mulki station in Karnataka.

Raped the dead body also

Giving information about the case, the police said that the student was returning home from tuition in Valsad on 14 November. Then, in a deserted area, Rahul pulled her into the bushes and after raping her, strangulated the girl and left from there. After some time, Rahul returned there and raped the dead body. When investigation was done about the accused, it was revealed that he was earlier caught in a theft case. He was kept in Lajpore jail of Surat in the theft case. After this, he was granted bail in May.

Robbery and murders were committed in four states

According to the police, the criminal Rahul Jat is a resident of Rohtak, Haryana. He used to keep changing his location continuously after committing crimes in different states. He has committed robberies and murders in four states (Karnataka, West Bengal, Telangana, and Maharashtra). According to the police, he used to commit crimes on trains and railway stations. In the matter, Valsad SP Karanraj Vaghela said that this arrest was possible due to the police of several states and a massive search operation.
