Sukma: Accountant Deepak Singh Sengar, working in Sukma District Hospital, Sukma, has been arrested in the case of molestation of a woman. On this, Collector Devesh Kumar Dhruv took strict action and suspended the accountant with immediate effect.
Provision for suspension on indiscipline and indecent conduct
This action has been taken under sub-rule 9 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Service ‘Classification, Control and Appeal’ Rules 1966, in which there is a provision for detention in police custody and suspension of government servants for indiscipline and indecent conduct. According to the order issued by the Collector, Sengar will be given living allowance as per rules during the suspension period.
Accused arrested, judicial process started
Also, its headquarters has been fixed as Community Health Center, Chhindgarh. Accountant Deepak Singh Sengar is accused of molesting a woman under the Indian Penal Code 2023. In this case, the police have taken necessary action and arrested the accused and started the judicial process.
