According to the official website of the Indian Defense Research Wing, Bangladesh’s armed forces received 6 out of 12 Bayraktar TB2 drones earlier this year. According to the Defense Technology of Bangladesh (DTB) report, these drones are being operated by the 67th Army Unit. These drones are mainly used for intelligence, monitoring and mild attacks. This acquisition reflects Bangladesh’s efforts to advance and modernize defense capabilities, which is an important step in its military development.
