Bhopal: Shocking news has come from the capital Bhopal. Here Lokayukta raided the house of former constable of Regional Transport Office (RTO) Saurabh Sharma. In this raid, the team has recovered crores of rupees in cash and huge quantity of gold and silver from Sharma’s hideouts. According to sources, now Saurabh Sharma’s links seem to be connected to another case.
Sources say that apart from the investigation by the Lokayukta team, Income Tax has found 40 kg gold from a car. The price of this gold is said to be Rs 40 crore 47 lakh. This car was found abandoned in the forests of Mendora. This car has the registration number of Gwalior. The name of its owner is said to be Chetan Gaur. There has been a stir after the discovery of this car.
It is noteworthy that the Lokayukta team had raided the house and office of Saurabh Sharma on 19 December. The team had found Rs 1.15 crore in cash from his house. Whereas, Rs 1.70 crore cash and jewelery worth Rs 50 lakh were found from his office. Four luxury cars were also found with Saurabh Sharma. More than Rs 80 lakh cash was found in one of these cars.
Sharma has worked for 12 years. It is alleged that during this period he did a lot of commission. A year ago he took VRS and started doing real estate work. It is alleged that he also did hawala work. In this way he made a lot of wealth.
A shocking thing came to light
It is being told that the Lokayukta team reached Saurabh Sharma’s house and office in Arera Colony at 7 am on 19th December. According to sources, Saurabh Sharma’s real address is Dubai. The Lokayukta team is finding out where Sharma did money laundering and where he did hawala work after starting the real estate business. The team is examining all the documents closely.
