Jaipur . So far 8 people have died in the incident of fire that broke out after the blast in a gas tanker in Bhankrota area of Jaipur on Friday morning, while more than 35 people have been injured. The accident happened near DPS Cut when a truck. Hit a tanker filled with CNG gas. After this the gas tanker exploded. After the accident, the fire soon engulfed other vehicles. Expressing condolences regarding the incident, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has announced financial assistance. CM has announced to give a financial amount of Rs 5 lakh each to the dead and Rs 1 lakh each to the injured.
Issuing the order, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the loss of life in the incident of fire in a gas tanker on Ajmer National Highway is extremely sad and heartbreaking. In this hour of immense grief, our government has given a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 5 lakh to the injured. It has been decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh. Additionally, necessary directions have been issued to the concerned authorities to ensure proper and prompt treatment of the injured. After the explosion in the CNG gas tanker, the fire in the surrounding area took a huge form. More than 40 vehicles were hit. After much effort, several firefighters brought the fire under control. After information about the incident came to light, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma reached SMS Hospital early in the morning and met the injured. Also issued guidelines to the hospital administration to provide better medical facilities. After this, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also reached the incident site at Bhankrota. Where he inspected the spot and took information about the situation of the incident. During this, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma gave necessary directions to the officials to ensure that such incidents do not happen in future. Also asked for investigation of the entire matter. Along with the CM, Deputy Chief Minister Premchand Bairwa and Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham also reached the spot to get information about the incident.
