On Saturday, the bloodied body of a woman was found lying in the room of a closed house in Ghaziabad. Police found injury marks on the head. After the murder, the killer locked the door of the room from outside and fled. This incident took place in the house number-630 of Deendayalpuri on Ashram Road in Nandgram area. This woman used to live by working in the houses. The tenants living in the upper floor of this house told that the woman used to wake up every morning and run the water motor. When the motor did not work on Saturday, people came downstairs. The latch on the door was locked from outside. He opened the latch and went inside the room and saw the dead body of Asha Devi. After this the news was sent to the police.
SP City Nipun Aggarwal said, “At 11 o’clock on Saturday morning, we got information that a woman’s body was lying in the first room of this house. When the police reached, the body was recovered from the room of the house. There were injury marks on the woman’s head. The ID proof has identified her as 33-year-old Asha Devi wife Om Prakash. She is originally from Bulandshahr district. It is learned that she was living alone in this room for the last six months. Told, “Dog squad and forensic team have been called to the spot. All the teams are collecting evidence from the room. The relatives of the deceased are being contacted by sending the body for post-mortem. Information about this woman is also being collected from other families living in this house.
