Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that Shyamshah Medical College of Rewa has a glorious history. Earlier there were 60 seats for graduate medical education, which have now increased to 150 and PG seats have increased to 250. Soon, DM and MCH courses of 6 departments running in the Super Specialty Hospital will also start. He appealed to the students to study with full dedication. Bring glory to the institute and the region by being a leader in the service of humanity. He wished the students all the best for their bright future. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla distributed the academic awards for the year 2024 at Shyamshah Medical College.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that high level medical services including complex heart disease operations and kidney transplant are being provided in Rewa. All facilities are being provided to make Rewa a medical hub. Along with infrastructure construction and building construction, excellent medical facilities will be provided along with availability of necessary equipment, so that the people here do not have to go out for treatment but people from outside also come to Rewa for treatment.
Will become leaders in maternal and child health standards by strengthening rural medical facilities.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that medical facilities like district hospitals will be provided in rural areas also and residential complexes will be built for doctors. He said that maternal and child mortality rates can be reduced only by increasing rural medical facilities. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla talked about consulting doctors and experts to make Madhya Pradesh and Rewa top in health parameters, so that efforts to increase health facilities can be further strengthened.
