
New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has described the news of the 2025 board examination paper leaking as completely baseless. The board said that these rumors running on social media are being spread only to create panic among students and parents. CBSE board examinations of 10th and 12th have started from February 15 and will run till 4 April. This year, about 44 lakh students from more than 8,000 schools in the country and abroad are appearing in the examination. The board has made strict arrangements to conduct the examination fair and smoothly.
Rumors of paper leaks are being spread?
According to CBSE, some people are spreading false news on YouTube, Facebook, ‘X’ (Twitter) and other social media platforms that they have got the 2025 exam papers. The board has advised to beware of such rumors and said that strict action will be taken against those who make such false claims. CBSE clarified that it was monitoring those who spread misinformation. The board is identifying these rumors with law enforcement agencies and strict legal action will be taken against them.
Those who spread rumors will be punished
If any student is found involved in such activities, he will be punished under the rules of improper means of CBSE. Under this, the student’s examination can be canceled and he will not be allowed to appear in any subject examination for the next three years. CBSE has advised students and parents to rely on the information obtained from the official website and reliable sources of the board. The board has urged everyone not to share any information related to the exam on social media without checking.
