Patna: Hamaga’s case came to light on December 13 during the 70th combined examination of BPSC. Which was controlled by the administration in time. 2 FIRs have been registered in this case. Also, two police teams have been formed to identify and arrest the conspirators, which are investigating the case diligently. CCTV footage of Patna’s Bapu Examination Hall has also surfaced, in which some students are seen creating nuisance.
The administration is trying to identify the unruly students who created a ruckus on December 13 at the Bapu Dham Exam Center in Patna, the capital of Bihar. DM of Patna has also submitted an investigation report regarding the uproar to Bihar Public Service Commission. Some students had alleged irregularities during the examination, which the BPSC rejected and lodged an FIR against the students who created the ruckus. After the uproar, BPSC had asked for the investigation report from the DM.
CCTV footage surfaced
The DM has submitted the CCTV footage of the exam center along with the report to the Commission. Two FIRs were registered in the case of disturbance, in which the first FIR was lodged against 500 people who were creating ruckus inside the exam centre. Whereas, the second action was taken against 150 people who were creating chaos and creating nuisance outside the exam centre. Investigation has revealed that 12000 candidates had come to the Bapu Exam Center to take the exam, but only 200 to 300 students created a ruckus.
What are the allegations of the candidates?
Some candidates who came for the examination alleged that the question paper was tampered with during the examination. Students say that the seals of many question paper packets were broken, which indicates some major irregularities. At the same time, students allege that question papers were also received late. A CCTV footage of the exam center has surfaced, in which 10 to 12 students are seen leading the disturbance. Also trying to disrupt the examination.
Police are talking about identifying these 10 to 12 people and taking legal action. The Commission says that in each hall of Bapu Exam Centre, there were arrangements for 273 candidates to take the examination while there were 192 question papers in one box. In one exam room, more than one box was opened in the presence of everyone and sealed packets were sent to different exam rooms and distributed among the candidates. The total number of question papers was not less. There was no case of paper leak nor were there any shortage of question papers.
