Bhopal: Tribal Affairs, Public Asset Management and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah said that the state government is determined to bring all the tribal communities native to this land into the mainstream of development. Moving towards achieving the goal of inclusive empowerment of all, the State Government has prepared a comprehensive action plan for the next 5 years for the overall development and welfare of the tribals. The objective of this action plan is to empower the tribal society through education, culture, employment, and infrastructure.
Educational reforms and infrastructure development
Minister Dr. Shah said that under the action plan, 205 higher secondary schools will be converted into CM Rise. 36 girls education complexes will be constructed. Sports, singing and laboratory teachers will be recruited at higher secondary, secondary and primary levels. About 6,238 teacher posts will be given charge of higher posts. CM under construction The construction work of Rise School buildings will be completed soon. A large number of posts of hostel superintendents will be recruited. This will enable the hostels to operate efficiently.
Conservation of culture and art
Minister Dr. Shah said that GI registration of tribal folk art and products will be done. Tribal cafeterias will be set up. “Samjh Jharokha” magazine will be re-published. 4 cultural centers will also be built for PVTG (Special Backward Tribal Group).
Digitization and technological improvements
Minister Dr. Shah said that all forest rights pattas will be digitized in a planned manner. Community radio centers will be further strengthened.
Forest rights and land reforms
Minister Dr. Shah said that now the government is moving towards giving recognition to forest rights to the claimants occupying the forest land of urban bodies. The rights of the claimants occupying small and big forests of revenue land will be recognized. Forest rights card holders of Special Backward Tribe Groups (PVTG) will be benefited from various government schemes.
Pradhan Mantri Adi Adarsh Gram Yojana
All infrastructure development and necessary construction works will be completed under the action plan approved under the Pradhan Mantri Adi Adarsh Gram Yojana in more than 2,523 identified villages of the state.
Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Utkarsh Campaign
Minister Dr. Shah said that in the next 5 years, 100 percent target of development of tribes will be achieved through 25 types of schemes/facilities of 18 departments/ministries in 11 thousand 377 tribal dominated villages of the state.
special plans
125 Multi-Purpose Centers will be constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Tribal Justice Maha Abhiyan (PM Jan-Mana) Scheme. Community centers will be constructed at PVTG development blocks, districts and divisional levels. Capacity development program will also be conducted in all tribal hostels.
Government’s commitment
Minister Dr. Shah said that the state government has decided to set up a special board for quick resolution of the problems of tribal communities. With this, certain types of problems of the tribes will be resolved quickly. He said that the overall action plan for tribal development will be implemented in a time bound manner. Through this action plan, our government is going to take a concrete step towards improving the social, cultural and economic condition of the tribal communities of the state by empowering them.
