Panchkula. In Haryana, Congress held a Chintan Shivir, in which more elections were discussed than the party. Not only this, in view of the general elections of 2024 and then the assembly elections after that, many big promises were also made by the Congress leadership. Former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that if the Congress government comes to the state then the elderly will be given a pension of Rs 6,000 a month. Apart from this, 300 units of free electricity and a plot of up to 100 yards will also be available to the poor to build houses. Especially the announcement of building a house is the biggest and the first of its kind. Till now no party in any state had made such an announcement. Addressing a camp organized at a hotel in Panchkula, Bhupinder Singh Hooda also supported the conduct of caste census. He also announced to increase the OBC creamy layer. Hooda said that this limit should be increased from 6 to 10 lakhs. During this, the state president Udaybhan said that we will not sit peacefully till the BJP and JJP government is sent off. He said that the new team of Congress in the state would be announced in August itself. Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda said that there should be programs to reach out to Congress workers to fill them with enthusiasm. Not only this, the issues of farmers were also discussed during the meeting. Raghbir Kadian said that the government should find solutions to the issues related to agriculture. In particular, the minimum support price should be guaranteed. At the same time, MLA Geeta Bhukkal presented a proposal regarding Dalits, backwards and women. He said that these sections have been neglected in the present BJP government. Kadian said that even MLAs are not safe during this government. This shows that the agenda of this government is not to protect the people. Officers up to the rank of DSP are being killed in broad daylight.
