In Chhattisgarh’s Korba, a six-month pregnant woman died due to non-availability of treatment. The husband had taken the woman to the government hospital when she had difficulty in breathing. There the doctor called him to his clinic saying that there was no facility. It is alleged that the doctor reached there late, till then the woman’s health deteriorated. After this he was taken to the district hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. At the same time, the woman’s father has expressed doubts on this whole story.
