According to the intention of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on behalf of UPPCL, on the occasion of Holi, instructions have been given regarding cut-free power supply in the entire state from 6 pm on March 7 to 7 am on March 9.
According to the media, UPPCL Chairman M Devraj said that clear instructions have been given to the officers of all DISCOMs to ensure that everyone gets uninterrupted power during this period in the entire state. He informed that all the Managing Directors have been directed to ensure that all necessary action is taken to ensure cut-free uninterrupted power supply in their discoms. It has also been directed that immediate action should be taken on the supply related information received on 1912 toll free number. The Speaker has said that on the occasion of the important festival of Holi, there should not be any laxity in the issue of smooth power supply. All the distribution officers should discharge their respective responsibilities. He told that in order to get power supply as per the prescribed schedule, the Managing Director should do effective monitoring from his level from now itself and all the officers engaged in distribution should be constantly alert. M Devraj said that if there is any problem in power supply at the local level, it should be rectified immediately in the least possible time. Necessary gang and material should be prepared in advance for its arrangement.
