Bhopal: To perpetuate the memory of his elder brother late Devendra Singh Tomar, Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar launched the campaign to build a green corridor from Patali Hanuman to Kanch Mile with the resolve to make Gwalior assembly constituency pollution free. Along with cleaning the road dust, soil and garbage, Energy Minister Tomar himself also cleaned the dust settled on the trees.
It is noteworthy that late brother of Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar. After the untimely demise of Devendra Singh Tomar, an initiative has been taken to operate a 20-bed ICU in Hazira Civil Hospital in his memory. He has said that the city has been made pollution free so that pollution related diseases do not arise. That is why it has been resolved to make Gwalior assembly constituency a pollution free and green city. He urged the residents and shopkeepers here that it is our responsibility to take care of our health. To keep the area around us clean and green, along with the Municipal Corporation employees, we too, while discharging our moral responsibility, plant trees in pots around our house and shop and take care of them. During this, in the first phase, he gave dustbins to all the shopkeepers from Patali Hanuman Temple to Committee Hall. Singh Tomar said that if we start every change from our home first, we will be successful in conveying the message to other people. He said that from today onwards, whatever garbage comes out in your shop, you should put it in this dustbin yourself and request the customers also to put the garbage in the dustbin itself. During this, the Energy Minister urged the elderly people who are supporting their families by setting up a four-wheeler cart, to take advantage of the government’s Ayushman Bharat scheme in time and get free treatment facility by getting Ayushman card made. On this occasion, officers and employees of the district administration, municipal corporation administration and police administration were present.
