‘Fangal storm’ will create havoc in severe cold, rain alert for next 5 days


Delhi. Fangal storm became active in the Bay of Bengal (fungal storm) may cause changes in weather across the country. Due to the possibility of strong winds and rain, the weather in Uttar Pradesh may also be affected in the next few days. Cold has increased in the state, especially in rural areas, while dense fog is prevailing in the morning and evening, due to which visibility has reduced. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for the next 5 days and has expressed the possibility of further increase in cold.

Weather condition:

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain clear in most parts of the state on November 26. However, light or moderate fog may be seen in many areas in the morning and night. There has been a warning of dense fog during night and morning on 27 November, but the weather will remain clear during the day. Even in the last days of this month (28, 29 and 30 November), the weather is expected to remain normal throughout the day, while there will be a possibility of rain.

Impact of Fengal storm:

The impact of Fengal storm will be more visible in South India. Heavy rains are expected in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry from 26 to 28 November, while Andhra Pradesh may receive torrential rains from 26 to 29 November. The impact of this storm will also be seen in Uttar Pradesh, and there will be a possibility of rain till November 30.

Temperature condition:

Temperatures continue to drop in Uttar Pradesh, with many districts recording minimum temperatures close to 10℃. The minimum temperature in Ayodhya, Najibabad and Muzaffarnagar has reached 11℃, while in Churk, Fursatganj and Etawah the minimum temperature has been recorded at 11.4℃, 11.5℃ and 11.6℃. Talking about the maximum temperature, 24.6℃ was recorded in Meerut and Fatehpur, 25.2℃ in Muzaffarnagar and Bareilly, while Lakhimpur Kheri had the highest temperature of 25℃.

Due to the impact of Fengal storm, there is a possibility of drop in temperature and increase in cold in Uttar Pradesh in the coming days. Also, there may be further changes in the weather due to rain, due to which the effect of cold will be felt more.
