Of. Under the guidance of Chaturvedi, 5 quintals of vermi compost manure was distributed free of cost for demonstration in the paddy field (variety Mahamaya) under Godhan Nyay Yojana. This fertilizer was used at the time of sowing in 3 acres. After about 2 months, it was told by the farmer Shri Hardas that the soil of the field has become softer than the previous year and the water holding capacity of the land has increased, despite the drought conditions, moisture is accumulated in the field and the paddy crop is better than other areas. In comparison, more green is visible and the incidence of insect disease has reduced. On using vermi compost by the farmer, interest was expressed to use vermi compost manure in his entire field in the coming year after seeing the benefits in the present crop. Farmer Shri Hardas is satisfied with the benefits of using Vermi Compost.
