A 74-year-old Indian-origin man has been arrested in California, USA for the murder of his daughter-in-law. It is alleged that the elderly carried out the incident on September 30 in the parking lot of a Walmart store in San Jose. San Jose Police said in a statement that 74-year-old Sital Singh Dosanjh, a suspect in the incident, was arrested from his home in Fresno on October 1. During investigation, SJPD Homicide Unit Detectives found Sital Singh Dosanjh as a suspect in this murder case. Following which a warrant was issued for the arrest. He is currently sent to the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
According to US media, Gurpreet Kaur Dosanjh, daughter-in-law of Setal Singh Dosanjh, was talking on the phone with her uncle at the time of the incident. At the same time, the accused shot and killed him. The uncle of the deceased told that Gurpreet had already expressed his suspicion of murder. He also reportedly told his uncle that he had seen Dosanjh driving in the parking lot. During that time Gurmeet was in the parking lot of Walmart. She looked very frightened at that time. His body was recovered by the police from the parking lot of Walmart about five hours later. Two bullet wounds were found on his body. Was declared dead at the scene.
When the officers who reached the spot started searching for the killer, the police got important clues on the spot. During this the police identified a suspect. The suspect’s information was sent to the relevant law enforcement agencies. After which the police reached the killer.
