Sitting down during the earthquake: Lie on the ground on your hands and knees.
Hide: Hide under a strong table or desk.
Catch: Hold the object with one hand and keep your head and neck safe with the other hand.

If you are outside the house, then lie down on the ground and crawl towards the open space. Stay away from buildings, electric lines and trees. If you are driving, stop the car and stay in it. Avoid stopping near buildings, trees, overpasses and electrical wires.

If you are in bed then stay there and cover your head and neck with a pillow. If you are on a wheelchair or use a walker, lock your wheels and sit till the vibration stops.
