For women- Fines in Karnataka for seating men, official orders issued


Karnataka: The seats reserved for women passengers in the bus should be left for them, while traveling in the seat bus and metro, you must have seen such messages above the seat. If you travel by sitting on a seat reserved for women, then you have to pay a fine. Many times women are sitting on the seats of women, as well as women are sitting on the seats of men. In such a situation, women get seats, but men do not get seats. After the Shakti Yojana, one of the Congress government’s guarantee schemes, the number of women in buses has increased considerably. Because travel for women under this scheme is free. Now men are said to give their seats to women as well. Now the Mysore Division of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has issued an official order regarding this matter.

Male passengers are not getting seats
Due to the high number of women passengers, male passengers are not getting seats. Therefore, seats reserved for male passengers should be given to them. KSRTC Mysore Divisional Controller recently issued an order to the drivers and employees to pay attention to the matter. This order is being issued in relation to the issue of women traveling on seats reserved for men.

Driving staff was instructed
Vishnuvardhan S has lodged a complaint with the Central Office, stating that female passengers sit on seats reserved for male passengers in the transport vehicles of Mysore city and male passengers do not get seats. Mysore Divisional Controller said in the order that all driving staff have been instructed to see that male passengers should get seats and male passengers should be allowed to sit on the male passengers.
