Four workers died, four others missing


Chamoli. So far, four workers have been confirmed in the incident of fierce avalanche in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, while four others are still missing. 46 workers have been safely evacuated in rescue proceedings, but four workers are seriously injured and have been hospitalized. Army, ITBP and BRO teams are also continuously engaged in rescue works. The accident has revealed the seriousness of danger throughout the state, and the administration has issued an alert in all mountainous regions. Delhi is also being assisted so that the missing workers can be helped. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh have taken information about all political and scope in the context of this accident and assured to help in relief work. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the site of the incident and took stock of rescue operations. He asked the skills of the safe expelled workers and inquired from the officials. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh are also monitoring this campaign. The Prime Minister spoke to the state government and assured the central government to provide all possible assistance for relief works. In view of the threat of snowfall and avalanche, alert has been issued in all the mountainous districts of the state. The DMs of all the districts have been instructed to monitor the situation and take additional vigilance. The rescue operation is completely continuing and the teams of Army, ITBP and administration are continuously engaged in rescue work.
