
Reva . A tunnel of length 2.82 km has been built in the Mohania Valley on the direct National Highway No. 39 at a cost of Rs 1004 crore. It has been constructed by the National Highways Authority of India. Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan are going to inaugurate it today. The inauguration ceremony is going to be held near Mohania Tunnel. All preparations have been done for this. The Union Surface Transport Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of seven road projects worth Rs 2443.89 crore at the function. Their total length is 204.81 km. Union Minister of State for Road Transport, General B.K. Singh, Assembly Speaker Girish Gautam, Public Works Minister Gopal Bhargava, Food Minister and in-charge of Rewa district Bisahulal Singh, Forest Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Rural Development and Backward Classes Welfare Minister Ramkhelavan Patel and Minister of State Public Works Suresh Dhakad will be present.
