Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has congratulated the entire medical team for the successful double kidney transplant at Super Specialty Hospital, Rewa. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government is committed to making health services strong and accessible to remote areas. This success is a testament to our commitment to expand super specialty facilities to every part of the state. This historic achievement in Rewa will give a new direction to the health services of the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that the state government is continuously working to make the resources and expertise required for complex medical procedures like organ transplantation accessible to every medical institution. Describing this achievement as a proud moment for Rewa and the entire state, he praised the hard work and dedication of the team.
Under the leadership of Dr. Rohan Dwivedi, Transplant Physician and Nephrologist, and Dr. Pushpendra Shukla, Transplant Surgeon and Urologist, two patients were successfully transplanted in a single day at Super Specialty Hospital, Rewa. Of these, a kidney was donated to a female patient by her mother and to a male patient by his elder brother. Both the patients are healthy and were discharged from the hospital on December 17. Dr. Vivek Sharma, Dr. Ashish Ghanghoria, Dr. Brijesh Tiwari and Dr. Vijay Shukla of the Department of Urology, Dr. Alok Pratap Singh, Dr. Subhash Aggarwal, Dr. Rajeev Dwivedi, Dr. Ravi Prakash Singh, and Dr. of the Department of Anesthesia. . l.
