Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh government is preparing to take the schemes and innovative initiatives run by collectors and officers to greater heights for the general public. Secretary Planning, Economic and Statistics Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh has written a letter to all the districts and instructed them to upload their good works on Google link. According to the issued letter, good works will be identified and encouraged and the best practices of the districts will also be publicized. Beggar-free campaign being run by Indore district administration, library made available to children for free and e-commerce campaign run in government offices. Innovative initiatives like attendance can now be adopted at the state level. The department has sought information about more than 25 schemes of Indore district. Secretary Planning, Economic and Statistics Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal has sought information from the departments through Google Form. The department has also issued QR code for uploading photos and other information.
Taking initiatives for good governance
To identify the efforts being made for good governance and innovative successful practices to benefit the general public through various schemes, to provide policy suggestions for replication of successful good governance models by the state government and to make efficient citizen services accessible in the state. Suggesting administrative reforms for good governance is one of the main tasks and responsibilities of NITI Aayog, for which good governance is now being prepared. For this, topic-wise seminars will be organized and published to identify the good work being done by the districts, to encourage them and to provide a platform for district level innovations to the district officers to disseminate the best practices of the districts.
