Bodh Gaya. Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake reached Bodhgaya on Tuesday. He is accompanied by Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath and Deputy Finance Minister Anil Jayanta and a team of officials. After that everyone went to Mahabodhi temple for darshan and worship. BTMC Secretary said that he will offer prayers in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple and visit the sacred Bodhi tree. After that, after visiting the seven places associated with Lord Buddha located in the temple complex, we will ring the Dharma bell in Sadhana Udyan. After that, after worshiping at Jayshree Mahabodhi Temple of Mahabodhi Society, we will see the remains of Lord Buddha and his disciples. After spending about one and a half hour at Buddha Bhoomi, you will return to the airport. Bodh Gaya is a holy city associated with the life of Lord Buddha and has many important Buddhist sites.
