Bhopal. The leaders kept listening to poems in the Kavi Sammelan. Amidst all these veteran leaders, a minor boy kept selling popcorn and no one took any objection to him. This Kavi Sammelan was organized by the MP Sahitya and Sanskriti Samiti in the open premises of Ravindra Bhavan.
Many veteran leaders including State Congress President Kamal Nath, senior leaders Suresh Pachauri, Kantilal Bhuria, Arun Yadav, NP Prajapati, Vijayalakshmi Sadho, PC Sharma were present on the stage of this Kavi Sammelan. In the program, everyone paid floral tributes to the picture of late Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary. Meanwhile, in the presence of all these leaders, a minor boy kept selling popcorn packets in a bag right in front of the stage. Apart from them, all the Congress leaders, spokespersons, workers, officials and leaders associated with the organization were also sitting under the stage. When Kamal Nath’s address was over, all the leaders got down and sat in the first row. But, no one paid attention to that minor. In his address at the Virat Kavi Sammelan, Kamal Nath fiercely targeted the BJP without taking names. Remembering late Rajiv Gandhi, he said- Rajiv gave direction to the 21st century. He made his sacrifice. He strengthened the culture. Our heart is a culture of bonding. Today there are disputes in the states. The name of Khalistan started being heard. This is a kind of danger. The future of our country is in danger. We have to compete.
The culture of the Russo-Soviet Union disintegrated. There was no culture of our country. We have to save the culture of our country. Elections come and go. Let me tell you, the duty of the police was also engaged in this great poet conference. Both the traffic police and the local police were present. But, even in front of him, the child labor law kept flying.
