Kerala: Earthquake tremors were felt in this part of Kerala on Saturday. Earthquake tremors occurred in the height areas of North Kasargod district of Kerala early Saturday. However, it is being told that mild tremors of earthquakes have been felt. The police has given this information and said that there is no news of any damage. Vellarikund police quoted the villagers as saying that earthquake tremors were felt for a few seconds in Malom, Rajapuram, Konnakkad and surrounding areas and people left their homes and started fleeing out.

A police officer said, “People said that they felt earthquake tremors in their village and heard some unnatural voices from under the ground.” Police further said that some people in these areas said that their phone fell down from the table due to earthquake tremors and the cot kept in their house was also shaken. Police said that the district administration officials will soon visit this village and conduct a detailed investigation and after that whatever information the information gets will be shared.
