International Kabaddi players will be ready in Karnal


In order to make the state’s name come first in sports on the world stage, the lack of sports facilities along with better sports policy on behalf of Chief Minister Manohar Lal is not being allowed. During the BJP tenure, synthetic tracks have been gifted in many districts of the state, while in Karnal, now indoor stadium is going to be constructed for Kabaddi players. The old building at Karna Stadium will be demolished and a stadium for Kabaddi players will be made while an indoor stadium has been announced to be built in Kailash village.

Under the Smart City Project, the Chief Minister has laid the foundation stone for the sports stadium to be built at a cost of Rs.14 crore 4 lakh. The players of the district will be able to practice international level matches on this hockey ground to be built in Kailash village. There was a demand of the players for the Astroturf hockey ground for years, which has been fulfilled by the Chief Minister Manohar Lal. Along with this, an indoor stadium of Kabaddi will be built here at a cost of Rs.2 crore. Players will get more benefit of the hockey stadium to be built at a cost of Rs 14 crore 4 lakh in Kailash village and national level hockey competitions will be organized in Karnal district.
