Bhopal: Governor Mangubhai Patel said that the advancement of science and technology has changed the nature of cyber crimes. It is very important to make the society aware about the changing patterns of cyber crimes like digital arrest, hacking, phishing etc. Governor Patel inaugurated the 7th International Conference RTIP on “Recent Trends in Image Processing and Pattern Recognition” in Bhopal. Was addressing the inauguration program of 2R-2024. This three-day conference has been organized at the MENET campus under the joint aegis of Indian Institute of Information Technology and Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal.
Governor Patel said that today’s time is digital era. Therefore, it is necessary for the society to be aware of both the positive and negative aspects of science and technology. He asked the experts to discuss the progress of science and technical knowledge contained in the Indian knowledge tradition in the interest of the society and the nation. Through the conference, people came forward to contribute to the development of transformative areas of technology.
Governor Patel said that the cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh is rich. The state has the necessary vision and immense potential for technological and industrial development. The policy and practice of the State is in accordance with the subject matter of the international convention. They appreciated the initiative on the possibilities of image processing and artificial intelligence, key components of the digital revolution, through mutual cooperation.
Governor Patel inaugurated the conference by offering flowers and lighting the lamp on the Saraswati statue. He was welcomed with a bouquet and presented with a shawl, quince and memento.
Program at South Dakota University USA Subject expert K.C. Dr. Vinyatosh Mishra, working in Santosh, Dubai, highlighted the possibilities of research on the topic of image processing and pattern recognition. Mainit Institute Director K.K. Shukla informed about the research and development in the field of Artificial Intelligence through the institute and the innovations being done in the field of health with AIIMS Bhopal. IIIT Director Prof. Ashutosh Kumar Singh gave detailed information on the organization of the conference, its objective and the importance of technology and research in building a developed India. Dr. Deep Chandra Joshi expressed his gratitude. Subject experts, researchers and students from India and abroad were present in the conference.
