How to file tDR
If the train is missed, then TDR will have to be filed to get the refund of the reservation ticket. If the ticket was taken from the counter, then you have to file an offline TDR. TDR form will have to be filled and submitted by visiting the railway station counter. If the ticket is e-ticket, then you have to log on to the IRCTC website or app.
What are the rules of canceling tickets and refunds?
According to the rules of the railway, no refund is available on cancellation of Tatkal tickets. If the schedule of the train cancels the ticket 12 hours before the departure time, then 25% will be deducted. 50% of the amount will be deducted on canceling 12 to 4 hours in advance. Waiting list and RAC tickets can be canceled till 30 minutes before the train leaves, after that no refund will be available.
