Labor and Employment Minister Malla Reddy accused of threatening Income Tax officer…


A case has been registered against Malla Reddy, Minister of Labor and Employment in the Government of Telangana. He is accused of allegedly harassing and threatening an Income Tax official. An FIR in this matter has also been lodged against the Income Tax official on behalf of Malla Reddy’s daughter Bhadra Reddy, the police officer said.

Inspector K Ravi Kumar of Bowenpally police station said, under the FIR lodged by Minister Malla Reddy, Income Tax Officer Ratnakar had forcibly taken the signature of his brother at Dandigul Hospital. At the same time, Income Tax Officer Ratnakar has also filed a complaint against Minister Malla Reddy for allegedly harassing him. Income Tax officer Ratnakar said that the minister forcefully took away some evidence including laptop, mobile phone from him.

At the same time, Minister Malla Reddy denied the allegations and said that he had neither torn any documents nor snatched his laptop from the Income Tax officer. He said, the official of the IT department allegedly took the signature of his son on a document, in which there was an allegation of receipt of black money of 100 crores.
