Raipur: Chief Minister and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, on the second day of his stay in Bastar today, met the soldiers martyred in the Naxalite attack at Amar Vatika and expressed his deep condolences to the families of the civilians suffering from Naxalite violence.
While discussing with the family members, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that you have lost your family members in a long and painful battle, this pain cannot be reduced. The central and state governments are with you. To make the sacrifices and sacrifices of the martyrs permanent, the Chhattisgarh government is working to preserve their virtuous memories.
He said that no one else should have to lose the way you all have lost your family members. I pay tribute to the martyred soldiers and all those who lost their lives in Naxalite attacks. I assure you that we will completely eliminate Naxalism from the land of Mother Danteshwari.
Union Home Minister Shah said that the security agencies and police personnel of the Government of India are working vigorously on the Naxal front. Due to the precise strategy of the last one year, the scope of Naxalism has been limited and work is being done in a phased manner to speed up many development works. Naxal eradication campaign in Chhattisgarh is getting full support and cooperation from the Central Government. He said that the government is working on all three fronts to eradicate Naxalism. Those who surrendered leaving the path of Maoist extremism are being welcomed. They are also being arrested during the Naxal campaign and those who are bent on killing others are being answered in their own language.
Union Minister Shah said that the Chhattisgarh government has fixed one day a week in the Inspector General of Police office to listen to the problems of the families of the martyrs. Praising this initiative of the government, he said that the Collector should also be present in the IG office and become a part of this campaign. Union Minister Shah said that no one can reduce the pain of losing loved ones, but we will make some arrangements so that your pain can be reduced.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the martyrdom of your family members will not go in vain. The Central and Chhattisgarh governments will together take care of your interests. We are all determined to do what is best for all of you. He expressed his condolences to the families and paid tribute to the martyrs.
Chief Minister Sai said that it is a matter of great happiness for us that every time our soldiers have got success on the Naxal front, the Union Home Minister has encouraged them and always patted their backs. Even today they have come to encourage you and congratulate you for your courage and determination. He said that the Chhattisgarh government will install statues in the villages of the martyred soldiers to preserve the memories of them.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that we wanted to meet the soldiers who were martyred for peace and progress in Bastar and the families of the victims of Naxalite violence. You all are a part of our family and this grief of losing our loved ones is causing equal pain to all of us.
