Mangaluru: The Mangaluru Police Have Booked 19 People for Hate Crime and Murder after an unidentified Muslim man was beaten to death on the sidelines of a cricket match on Sunday. The commissioner said the Victim is Ashraf from Sulthan Bathery in Wayanad. The Mangaluru Police are waiting for Ashraf’s Family to Formally identify the body before making it official.

“An hour ago, I get information that the victim is most like a malayali,” Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal Told Onmanoama on Tuesday.

The officer said the victim, aged between 35 and 40, was not a resident of mangaluru.
