Raipur. More than 50 knife-wielders, history-sheeters and criminal elements residing in different police station areas in the capital were presented in the Crime Branch. During this time, the Senior Superintendent of Police himself took a parade of these criminals and gave them strict advice. Senior Superintendent of Police told these criminals not to indulge in any kind of crime and to inform the police about the crimes of their associates. Along with this, they were instructed to attend their respective police stations every week and cooperate with the police. Also, a strict warning was given to criminals posting photos and videos with weapons like knives, swords, air guns and pistols on social media. Strict action is being taken against those who create accounts with names like Gunda, Mafia and Gangster and post objectionable content on social media platforms and their IDs are blocked. It is being deleted through cyber cell. Crime branch officers and personnel including Additional Superintendent of Police City Lakhan Patle, Additional Superintendent of Police Crime Sandeep Mittal, Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Sanjay Singh and Inspector-in-charge Paresh Pandey were also present in this campaign.
