Bhopal . There are 8 MLAs in Sagar district. Of these, there are one minister and two former ministers, three senior MLAs and two first-time MLAs. 7 are from BJP and 1 from Congress. Those who are from Congress are on the path of BJP, that is, all are from the same party whose Chief Minister is there. Despite this, no major achievement has been achieved in the district during the year. The long standing demand to make Bina and Khurai districts has not been fulfilled. Skill development center has also not started.
Nirmala Sapre, the only MLA from Bina Assembly who came to BJP after being elected from Congress, is trying to get the district formed but till now this announcement has not been completed. MLA Sapre made every effort at his level, the announcement was also about to be made but it got stuck. CM also visited the area, the people of the area were expecting a lot from him, but the MLA has not been able to make any major announcement for the area. The people of the area have great expectations from Khurai Assembly MLA and former minister Bhupendra Singh. In the previous government, Singh was the chief minister after the CM, so it is natural for the public to have high expectations, but till now nothing much has been done to fulfill these hopes and expectations. Employment providing industries etc. have not come. However, till now former minister Singh has not put forward any such demand before the CM. Just before the elections, Brij Bihari, who joined BJP from Congress and became MLA, has even broken down the health system in Deori area of Patriaiya. There is a need for services like a big health center civil hospital in Deori but at present it is not happening here. Pregnant women have to come till Sagar District Hospital at night. The situation in villages is even worse.
There was only talk about industries, but no action was taken on the ground.
The industrial area falls in Narayawali assembly constituency, MLA Engineer Pradeep Laria has been claiming to set up an industry here. He also assured the public of setting up new industries so that problems like unemployment can be solved, this was discussed a lot throughout the year. Conclaves of industries were also held. Investment figures were also given, although these have not yet materialized. Virendra Singh Lodhi, who became MLA for the first time from Banda Assembly constituency, has written to the Principal for investigation and action against the irregularities. Till now this matter has not reached its conclusion. Big rigging was also done in Banda Municipality, this matter was also raised by the MLA in the Assembly. Despite this, not much has happened in the last one year. The work already started is still going on.
Only approved routine work is being done
Even in the area of former minister Gopal Bhargava, routine work is being done or the work approved during the last assembly is being done. Being a key minister in the previous government, the public is carrying high expectations. Till now no new work has come in the area. Being a senior MLA and former minister, there was hope of big industry, promises were also made, but till now this hope has not been fulfilled.
No major achievement even in Surkhi area
One Surkhi MLA from the 8th Assembly of the district is a minister in the state government. Despite playing an important role in the government, there is no major achievement visible in the last one year after being a minister. All routine work is getting better, officers and employees are working. There is hope of big investment in the name of data center in the regional conclave but that too is controversial.
Need for super specialty center in Sagar
There is a medical college in Sagar city. The need to start a super specialty center has been felt here for a long time. Public representatives kept giving assurance for this but till now it has not started. Sagar MLA Shailendra Jain is also trying for this. A unit for cancer treatment is also to be started. MLA Jain has been trying to increase the height of Rajghat Dam.
