Bhopal . The Chief Minister approved the supplementary budget in the winter session of the Assembly. Khandwa district has got one bridge and a dozen roads in the budget. Pre-approved funds have also been allocated for irrigation projects. Before Ujjain Simhastha-2028, the 40 km long Khandwa-Mundi road is to be constructed at a cost of Rs 75.80 crore. Under the shortcut route of Khandwa-Bhopal, a new bridge of about 600 meters long will be constructed parallel to the old bridge in Narmadanagar. This route connects Maharashtra to Bhopal via Khandwa-Mundi-Satwas.
Budget also received for irrigation project
Khandwa’s Morghadi to Art of Living Ashram up to 1.30 km 162.50 lakh, Township Gate via Shivriya to Singaji Main Road 1.70 km 165 lakh, Punasa Square to Baidani Marg 3 km 254.63 lakh, Gunjali to Khangwada Marg 2.30 km 292.08 lakh, Chichgohan of Pandhana Vis An amount of Rs 810 lakh has been received from Khedra Marg 6 km. Similarly, in Khandwa Vis, Nahalda-Bhandaria to Agriculture College Seed Center, Amravati Road, 12 km, Rs. 1620 lakh, in Harsud Vis, Gulaimal to Dimaria Dhana, 3 km, Rs. 425 lakh, Village Booti to Booti Dhana, up to 1.25 km, Rs. 270 lakh, Old State Road 15, Badkhalia. The access road to the village is 1.80 km and Rs 160.18 lakh from Unhel. Surwadiya 1.20 km will be constructed at a cost of Rs 131.45 lakh. An additional budget provision of Rs 10 crore has been made in Khalwa Micro Lift Irrigation Scheme, Rs 300 crore in Khandwa Lift Irrigation Scheme, Rs 15 crore in Jawar Micro Lift Irrigation Scheme and Rs 10 crore in Morand-Ganjal Irrigation Scheme.
