Thursday is the fourth day of the winter session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly. There will be discussion on fertilizer crisis in the House. Apart from this, attention-grabbing proposals will be brought in the House today on four subjects. MLA Kailash Kushwaha will draw the attention of the House on the increasing malnutrition in tribal areas and MLA Narendra Singh Kushwaha on electricity problems.
BJP’s counterattack on Jal Jeevan Mission
BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma has responded to Congress’s protest regarding Jal Jeevan Mission. He said that Congress ancestors did not do any work. There was drought during the time of Congress, Mohan government is providing water to every house. The sisters who used to go five kilometers each to get water are getting water at home. Regarding politics over Ambedkar, former minister Usha Thakur said that he does not have any work, hence he is giving form to this type of movement. He said- Congress does not even have the right to take the name of the most revered Ambedkar ji. It is Congress that will defeat him in the elections. Bharatiya Janata Party has established his Panch Tirthas.
Singhar said- Take our salary, but make us work
Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Umang Singhar said that development works are not being carried out in the areas of Congress MLAs. Therefore, all the Congress MLAs have decided that they will not take their salaries. Letters related to this are being tabled in the House today before the Speaker of the Assembly. It is requested through the Speaker that development works should be carried out in their areas from the salaries of Congress MLAs.
BJP MLAs cornering their own government
After the assembly proceedings resumed, during the question and answer period, MLA Dr. Sitasaran Sharma asked questions to Urban Development Department Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya. He said, “During an investigation in Municipality Narmadapuram, it has come to light that instead of Rs 2.5 lakh prescribed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, an amount ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 8 lakh has been given to about 30 beneficiaries. Is this amount Was the issue in accordance with the rules? If not, what action has been taken so far in this matter? Vijayvargiya replied, “A committee constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Director, Urban Administration and Development Department investigated this matter. The investigation found that more than the prescribed amount was paid to 45 beneficiaries in Municipal Council Narmadapuram. In this matter, Show cause notices have been issued against the concerned officers and employees, and strict action will be taken against the guilty officers within 2 months.”Satish Malviya raised the issue of master plan of Ujjain. He said that there has been a change in the master plan of Simhastha area, it should be improved. On this, Minister Vijayvargiya said that after discussion, investigation will be conducted on the basis of facts.

The fourth day of the winter session of the Assembly also started with uproar. Earlier in the House, tributes were paid to Ustad Zakir Hussain, former MLA Agni Chandrakar, Satyabhanu Chauhan and former Union Minister EVKS Ilongovan. During this, 2 minutes silence was also observed. After this, Congress raised slogans accusing corruption in Jal Jeevan Mission. Congress MLAs had reached the assembly with taps. Due to a lot of uproar, the proceedings were adjourned for ten minutes.

BJP’s schemes and claims are limited to paper only and are not reaching the public. In Jal Jeevan Mission, officials, BJP leaders and workers have committed corruption up to 40 percent.

Four attention attracting proposals will be brought on the fourth day of the assembly session. Sandeep Jaiswal will draw the attention of the Urban Development and Housing Minister towards the dilapidated condition of Ghantaghar to Jagannath Chowk road under Katni Municipal Corporation. Narendra Singh Kushwaha will draw the attention of the Energy Minister towards the electricity crisis in Bhind district. Abhay Mishra will draw the attention of the Chief Minister towards the murder of a person under Semaria police station of Rewa district. Kailash Kushwaha will draw the attention of the Women and Child Development Minister towards the situation arising due to malnutrition among children in many tribal districts of the state.
There will be discussion on fertilizer for one and a half hour
There will be a discussion on fertilizer crisis in the assembly on Thursday. Umang Singhar will raise a discussion regarding the situation arising due to farmers not getting fertilizer for Rabi crops in the state. Let us inform that on the first day of the session, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar had raised the issue of farmers not getting fertilizers. The Speaker of the Assembly had then assured to discuss this separately. It has been included in Thursday’s agenda, and discussion on this topic of public importance is scheduled for the end of the agenda. The Speaker has set a time of one and a half hour for this.
Seven government bills will be tabled
Seven government bills will be tabled in the assembly session today. This includes Madhya Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Third Amendment) Bill, Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker (Salary and Allowances) Amendment Bill, Madhya Pradesh Assembly Leader of Opposition (Salary and Allowances) Amendment Bill, Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Bill, Madhya Pradesh Municipality (Second Amendment) Bill, Madhya Pradesh Public Trust Bill, Madhya Pradesh Private Schools (Regulation of Fees and Related Matters) Amendment Bill will be placed for consideration.
