Plans to link the rivers were made but the previous governments kept them unnecessarily complicated. But our government works on the policy of dialogue, not conflict, and cooperation, not opposition. The result of this is that today the contract letter for Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project has been signed. Prime Minister Modi said that by linking rivers, it is possible to solve both the problems of flood and drought. We understand the importance of water. Water is divine, wherever it touches, it gives birth to new energy and power. It is the result of connecting the waters of the rivers that the Sabarmati River, which had completely dried up, has become alive again today. Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project will provide adequate water for irrigation and drinking water to both the states.
Prime Minister Modi said that Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Under the leadership of Patil, a huge campaign of water conservation “Rain Water Harvesting” is being run in the country with public participation. With this, every drop of rain water will be released into the earth and the thirst of Mother Earth will be quenched. It is our responsibility to give Mother Earth “Sujlam Suflam” to the coming generations, it is the responsibility of every citizen to conserve water resources and make meaningful use of every drop of water. Let us take out time for water conservation in our daily routine. Join the campaign “A tree in the name of mother”. This is a respect for both our mother and Mother Earth.
