Bhopal: Bhopal Police has issued new guidelines to maintain law and order on the occasion of New Year. Under this, strict action will be taken against those who create ruckus in the name of celebrations in the capital. At the same time, the police administration has issued some important instructions to maintain security and law and order regarding organizing mass programs by business establishments, hotels, lodges and gardens on New Year.
Information and permission required before organizing the event
Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-2 Dr. Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal said that prior information should be given to the concerned police station about the programs to be organized from 5 pm on 31 December 2024 to 12 midnight on 2 January 2025 and it will be mandatory to take permission from the concerned police station.
Strict monitoring of noise and drugs
All organizers have been instructed to ensure that loudspeakers are used in any program only as per the guidelines issued by the Honorable Supreme Court and Madhya Pradesh Government. Apart from this, there will be a ban on the use of any kind of banned drugs.
CCTV cameras will be installed for security and surveillance
The organizers will be given the responsibility of installing CCTV cameras to monitor and tighten the security arrangements at the venue. Apart from this, arrangements for vehicle parking and emergency gate will have to be ensured at the venue.
ban on licensed weapons
There will be a ban on cheering with licensed weapons at the venue and where fireworks or inflammable substances are used, safety standards will be strictly followed. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Aggarwal also made it clear that legal action will be taken against the organizers concerned if the order is violated.
Instructions to all police stations to take permission for related programs
It will be mandatory to inform the concerned police stations about all the programs proposed in Govindpura, Avadhpuri, Piplani, MP Nagar, Arera Hills, Ayodhyanagar, Misrod, Bagsevania and Katara Hills areas and take permission.
This order will be effective from 31 December 2024 to 2 January 2025
This order will be effective from 5 pm on December 31, 2024 to 12 midnight on January 2, 2025, so that no law and order related problems arise during this period.
