
New Delhi| Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Kargil on Monday morning, where he will celebrate Diwali with soldiers. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) through its Twitter handle informed about his arrival in Kargil on Monday morning.
Earlier, through his personal Twitter handle, Modi wished people a Happy Diwali.
He tweeted, Happy Diwali to all. Diwali is associated with brightness and light. May this auspicious festival carry forward the spirit of happiness and prosperity in our lives. I hope you have a wonderful Diwali with family and friends.
He had visited Ayodhya on Sunday on the eve of Diwali, where he participated in religious rituals and witnessed the festival of lights at Saryu Ghat.
Significantly, since taking over in 2014, Prime Minister Modi has been celebrating Diwali by spending time with soldiers in forward areas.
